My Future Computer

PC Case
This is the front. It has all the usual stuff but includes 4 USB 2.0 Ports, 1 Firewire Port, a Headphone and a Microphone Jack. The side view of the case shows a partial view of 2 of the windows and a clear view of the third. Also visible are the 13 drive bays. There are 4 external 5.25" bays, 3 external 3.5" bays, and 6 internal 3.5" bays. The back of the case shows the 7 expansion slots and the 2 case fans.

Video Card
This graphics card is the best I have seen. Wow!

Audio Card
This is one mean sound card. It needs it's own 5.25" drive bay just for the extra sound stuff. It mounts into the front and you can control sound and stuff right there. VERY COOL!!! This is the PCI portion of the sound card. Notice the Firewire port to plug into a sound system or other Firewire enebled device. This card does surround, and you can plug in loads of speakers. It also has SUPURB sound capabilities.

CD Burner
This burner is SUPER DUPER and can burn both DVD-R/-RW and DVD+R/+RWs! Awsome! There are two types of DVD; DVD-R/-RW, and DVD+R/+RW. This is the world's first burner that can handle both.

CD Burner
This is just a 2nd drive for the computer. This one burns CD-R/RW's alot faster than the one above, but it can't handle DVD's at all. A bit of a trade off.

Hard Drive
My C: drive will be this 200GB Monster. It goes 7200 RPM. It has a huge buffer. I will use this to store programs and stuff. This will be my 2nd hard drive and will be where I store most of the cool stuff on my computer. It will house downloads, school stuff and whatever else is on my computer.

Zip Drive
This is one of the newer zip drives that can read/write both the old 100MB zip disks and the newer 250MB zips.

Ram
This is the RAM. It is 512MB of DDR RAM at 434MHz. I'll get 2.

Motherboard
This is the motherboard. 6 PCI slots. 400MHz "Burst Cache". 3 DIMM RAM slots. 6 USB 2.0 ports.

Processor
Pentium 4 2.4 GHz. 512 KB (L2) Cache.

Power Supply
This is a 550 Watt power supply. Enough power for whatever. 2 Fans keep your case cool as well as the power supply.

That takes care of the main stuff. The rest is just software and minor hardware.
